Community Gathering (formerly Peaceful Mind Circle)

At our meeting today (June 5, 2026), we’ve decided for the time being to change the Peaceful Mind Circle to simply a Community Gathering. It’s a free session and open to anyone on the 1st and 3rd Fridays of the month. Our next session is June 19th at 12 PM Central Time. Join us if you can!

The Community Gathering is a gentle twice-a-month gathering centered on connection, mindfulness, friendship, and shared support.

Rather than following a book or structured topics we simply come together to reflect on life, practice, and whatever is present for us in the moment.

This is a space to:

🌿 pause and reconnect

🌿 share authentically

🌿 listen and support one another

🌿 practice mindfulness in real life

🌿 remember we are not alone

No pressure. No preparation. No need to have the “right” words.

Come when you can.

Share if you’d like.

Listen if you need.

Join in every Friday at 1:00 pm ET/12:00 pm CT facilitated by Deb Phelps of Peaceful Wellness.

Our online Sangha is free to members and is run through Skool. This provides the ability to stay connected.

Our goal for the Peaceful Mind Circle is to embrace mindfulness practices in all areas of our lives. All the books that are chosen for our group are either from teachers of mindfulness or otherwise rooted in mindfulness practices.

Included in each session is time for mindfulness meditation. Sessions are not recorded but recordings of mindfulness meditations and practices are available to members of the group.

You will find that our sangha is welcoming, supportive, and kind. We also have an online community group available for members to share insights, ask questions, and otherwise connect with one another in between our group sessions.

Be the change you wish to see.

We but mirror the world. All the tendencies present in the outer world are to be found in the world of our body. If we could change ourselves, the tendencies in the world would also change. As a man changes his own nature, so does the attitude of the world change towards him. This is the divine mystery supreme. A wonderful thing it is and the source of our happiness. We need not wait to see what others do. – Gandhi
